PINKIE PROMISE Chapter 1 Endings

One story completion, plus a set of deaths, captures and mistakes the game logs as badges — what each outcome is and how it happens.

Chapter 1 has one way for the story to actually end: sit at the party table, eat the cupcake, and let Pinkie carry you off to the “afterparty.” Everything else that can happen to you — dying in the barn, getting caught while hiding, refusing the wrong pony — is recorded by the game as a Roblox badge rather than a separate ending. This page walks through every registered outcome, the choice or failure that produces it, and what keeping the promise really means. The fan wikis still describe “three endings” tied to three badges; that framing dates from October 20, before the badge list grew to 15 entries, and the official badge API supersedes it.

What counts as an ending in Chapter 1

The game has no official ending counter. What it does have is a badge for every distinct outcome state, and the official badge list (15 badges, checked October 24, 2026) is the authoritative record of what a run can end in. The badges page carries the complete list with award counts; the table below sorts the outcome states by how a run reaches them:

The first four arrive on any completed run — they are route milestones, not alternate endings. The rest are failure, capture and mistake states, and those are the closest thing Chapter 1 has to branching endings.

The story ending: the cupcake party

Full spoilers for the finale follow. The fan route guide’s own warning applies: the ending changes the meaning of Pinkie’s promise, so stop here if you want to discover that scene yourself.

The story ending plays out only if you keep the promise — stay for the whole party, never leave, stay out of the room and away from the cake until the finale opens. After the final hide-and-seek, Pinkie declares “You did it!” and the party begins: a toast to “new friends, old friends, and friends who never ever ever go home,” followed by the party cannon. Then come the cupcakes. Pinkie baked them herself, “with a super secret ingredient. Eat up every crumb.”

Eating the cupcake is the chapter’s final interaction. The sprinkles kick in — “Feeling sleepy? Feeling floaty?” — and the guests drift off one by one while Pinkie insists the party isn’t over. The recorded runs close on the same beats: “Upsy-daisy. Off to the after party,” and finally “Now, you’ll be at every party.” The official Pinkie’s Party badge describes the same scene from her side: “You finished Chapter 1. She saved you a seat.”

In other words, keeping the promise is the ending. Finishing the chapter and escaping Pinkie’s invitation are different things, and Chapter 1 only lets you do the first one.

Caught and death states

Three badges register runs that ended badly, and one more covers the near-miss:

Kindling (“You didn’t make it out of the barn.”) is the barn-fire death at Sweet Apple Acres. The evacuation window opens when Applejack calls every pony to get clear; players who stay in the burning barn — the recordings capture her parting line, “You want water so bad? Go cool off in there” — end the run here.

Lost in the Everfree (“The forest kept you.”) is the forest death, during either the vine rescue or the railway chase that follows the train whistle. The death compilation recordings repeat one line across these scenes — “Heat. Heat.” — marking the spots where a run ends. The exact fail conditions (which branches kill, and how much contact it takes) are not documented by any source, so treat the chase as lethal rather than testing it.

Found You! (“Pinkie caught you. She was so happy to see you.”) is the capture state — lose a five-second hiding search and Pinkie finds you (“Peekaboo”). The recordings show what follows: “So, ready to pinky promise?” and a cheerful ride downward — “The best parties are downstairs. Wee! Down you go!” Capture loops you back into the party rather than ending the run, which makes it the mildest failure on the list. Its mirror, Not Found, is the success version: she came looking, and this time she didn’t find you.

Mistake states: Broken Promise, Not Fire!, Angry Applejack

Three badges record choices rather than failures, and for all three the official descriptions confirm the states exist while the exact trigger steps remain undocumented. What follows is what the evidence actually supports.

Broken Promise (“You know what you did.”) is the badge for violating the pinkie promise — the three rules about leaving, the room, and the cake. The recordings catch Pinkie mid-capture saying “No pony breaks a pinkie promise,” and the caught scene ends with “So, ready to pinky promise?” — so breaking the promise feeds into the capture loop. No source, though, writes out which specific actions trip the badge, and this page won’t guess.

Not Fire! (“She asked you not to.”) lines up with a warning in the forest rescue: as Fluttershy directs you to the glowcaps, the recordings include the line “No, not fire. It only makes them angry.” Using fire at the vines instead of the glowcap rescue is the reported trigger — reported, not confirmed; the badge exists officially, the connection is the community’s reading of that line.

Angry Applejack (“Somepony had a bad day. You made it worse.”) belongs to the farm fire. The badge wiki’s unlock advice distinguishes escaping the fire from “deliberately trying an optional interaction around Applejack during the fire,” and the secrets list describes that interaction as splashing Applejack. Provoking her mid-emergency is therefore the likely trigger — again, community-reported, with no source documenting the full steps.

Is there a secret ending?

No secret or true ending is confirmed in Chapter 1. The official badge list — the same API that settles the outcome table above — contains no hidden-ending badge, and the closest candidate, Scrapbook Complete (“Every secret in Chapter 1. She keeps a page about you too.”), is a collection reward for finding every secret, not an alternate finale. The secret-ending page on one fan wiki reached the same conclusion from the other direction.

Claims still circulate, and the honest standard for evaluating them comes from that same wiki: only trust footage that shows the full trigger on screen, from a fresh run. Chapter 2, titled “The Secret Ingredient,” may change the picture when it arrives — the date attached to it (November 16, 2026) is wiki-reported, not officially confirmed.

Replaying for missing outcomes

Because every outcome is a badge, your Roblox profile is the checklist: open the game’s badge section and any missing badge marks an outcome you haven’t triggered. The wiki’s completion advice — one normal run, then targeted replays for whatever the profile shows missing — is community methodology rather than anything official, but it matches how the badges register. A full run costs only about 38 to 45 minutes, and the failure badges in particular can only be earned by failing on purpose, so plan those on a throwaway run rather than a clean one. The route itself is on the walkthrough, and the badge-by-badge conditions are on the badges page.

Chapter 1 ending questions

How many endings does PINKIE PROMISE Chapter 1 have?

Chapter 1 has one story completion — the party finale — plus a set of failure and mistake states the game logs as Roblox badges. There is no official ending count; the badge list held 15 entries on October 24, 2026, and it grows with updates.

What happens if you keep the pinkie promise?

You stay for the whole party, eat the cupcake, and drift off as Pinkie carries you to the afterparty. Keeping the promise is how the chapter ends: the finale closes on “Now, you’ll be at every party.” Breaking it instead feeds the capture loop behind the Found You! and Broken Promise badges.

Is there a secret ending in Chapter 1?

None is confirmed. The official badge list contains no secret-ending badge, and the closest thing to one — Scrapbook Complete — is a collection reward for finding every secret, not an alternate finale. Treat circulating secret-ending claims as theory until Party Cannon Studios confirms one.
